1 Corinthians 9:24
This journey into discovering boundaries has not been easy, but I trust that it has produced some fruit in your life you may not have realized you needed. You learned to allow your needs and desires to set a boundary, to let technology take a backseat to the more important stuff, and to let go of an unhealthy friendship or relationship. These are skills that will prove themselves time and time again as you face different obstacles in life. Isn’t it great that God modeled these so well?
We have one more day, but the adventure doesn’t end with #theFives. You have a lifetime of “running your race” to obtain the prize at the end. That means you condition yourself. You train daily. You refuse the stuff that will slow you down and embrace what will make you faster. You don’t win a race accidentally, right? If you keep your eyes focused on the finish line, you will run your best race yet!
**If you have benefitted from this session of #theFives, would you consider donating to our non-profit ministry? If each person who participated in #theFives this session donated just $5, we would be fully-funded! Think about it- that is just $1 week, just .20 a day for all the content, accountability, and leadership you have received. I’d say that’s an insanely good price! 1.) Make a plan for future steps that need to be taken with boundaries. How will you keep a consistent prayer time after #theFives ends? What action steps do you need to complete from this session?
2.) Training looks different for each individual. Ask God what spiritual training is best for you, and be faithful to follow-thru.
3.) In case you feel caught up in the questions above, remember that our faith isn’t a checklist. While we can use tools to follow Jesus well, they cannot become our god. Reflect on your tendency to let the methods become the Maker, and ask God what He says about that.
