Who says third times a charm? We’ve cornered the market on FOUR over here!
Four years in and ministry keeps getting better! Any good thing takes time, and time has been good to us. Our ministry continues to grow and mature in a way that can only happen with supporters like you…
And Jesus, of course.
Here’s a tiny look into the people and places impacted for Jesus in the 1,460 days our ministry has existed. We will be celebrating all month long, and we want to invite you to the party! We couldn’t have done any of it without your support, and we’d like to say “Thanks!”
Thank you for attending our events, praying, and sending us your love financially. We are forever grateful! Follow along on social media all this month for giveaways and fun.
Let’s take a look at what the past 4 years held!

WHOA. If that doesn’t move the heart of God, I don’t know what does!
The Calling
Our 2nd Believe Boldly Retreat happened in February, after being derailed by a hurricane the previous fall.
Almost 200 people came to learn about their calling and rest in the gorgeous setting of Forest Glen Camp.
And God met us there.
New friendships were formed, physical healing took place, and some accepted Jesus for the first time. Ladies came from states away to be with us. We baptized women in the freezing lake for over 2 HOURS!
Love Local
We feel it is important to reach people in their local communities, so instead of asking them to come to us, we brought Believe Boldly to them! Partnering with local churches, as well as offering online conferences, Love Local was a new way to encourage the local church.
(Want to join the next one? March 30th we will be in Haslet, TX)
Believe Boldly book
I wrote a book about prayer that released at #1 on Amazon in its category. What a beautiful fulfillment of a dream God put in my heart years ago! It is totally surreal to see your name on a book in a Barnes and Noble. Thank you to each person that was on the launch team, those who left reviews online, and each person who bought copies! Believe Boldly is being used for church small groups, community book clubs, and individual growth. We couldn’t be happier, and hope you will keep ordering and sharing with your friends!
Our team grew!
In an answer to prayer, Emily Felker quit her full-time job as an educator and joined us in all things Believe Boldly! She is now co-director of our ministry, overseeing much of #theFives, event planning, and teaching at events and online.
Additionally, Ashley Riggs has joined as our ministry administrator! She is a stay-at-home mom who has an incredible calling to minister to women. She handles our Etsy shop, gets creative with our social media, and helps cast vision for the future of Believe Boldly.
More important than all the stats and claims to “success,” is the heart change. It cannot be measured with numbers or statistics. We cannot quantify the impacts of each prayer you all have whispered in desperation every morning at 5am- families restored and babies conceived; financial blessings and dreams realized! Comment below how Believe Boldly has impacted YOU!
Thank you for being on this journey with us!
When I first joined the Fives, prayer life was foreign to me. My whole world burst with new life as my understanding of prayer grew and my relationship with the Lord deepened. I attended both retreats with Believe Boldly and it’s beyond words to look back and see how much He pursued my heart and grew me over the years. I have gained the most precious friendships, discovered incredible callings and giftings He placed within me and made some of my most cherished memories all through this ministry! From prayer, to meet ups, retreats, a book that made me feel so much more sane because I wasn’t alone, and a new boldness in my own faith walk. So thankful for every YES you committed to Erica (and team). So grateful to have been blessed to be a part in the fruit of this ministry.
This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing, Shanda.
